and administration
for
virtual systems
The way we keep fees for our extraordinary Linux technology low
is by providing only support for the system itself. If you select only our basic
service, we expect you to do all the administration of the applications on your
server, and to not need any assistance from us to keep these going. Applications
in this context include services such as databases, ftp, e-mail, web servers,
and so forth. It may also include applications unique to your business, or applications
built on top of other applications. The obvious reason for this requirement
is that support or administration of applications can consume a great deal of
time, even for highly skilled individuals.
Some customers lack the skills to do this, or alternately would
prefer either that we provide them support at the application level, or that
we actually perform the systems administration work for them as an integrated
solution. For such customers, we can provide assistance or administrative services
for an additional fixed fee. Samples of these fees are shown in the schedule

| Important note about reduced support costs for multiple
virtuals! |

We want to encourage you to segment your work where it makes sense by
buying different virtuals for different functions. This design approach
has major advantages to you because it typically reduces the amount of
configuration time due to the avoidance of conflicts, and avoids putting
all your eggs in one basket.
Accordingly, when you are purchasing telephone support services, or applications
support from us, and as long as support is only to you (and not to a bunch
of different people) we will waive any second or additional instance of
support charges for the same item after the first such charge.
As an example. Lets assume that you have three virtuals and you want
7x24 support on all of these. Under this plan, you will only pay for 7x24
on the first of your three systems, and there is no charge for the same
item on additional systems.
