Our high-end systems consist of mirrored pairs of virtual and physical servers. The core advantage of remote mirroring is data integrity. Your data is always in two places, rather than one, and is timely, because the daily (or more frequent process) of synchronizing the two machines intrinsically produces a second, verified off-premisis data set. People with certain database types, or with more frequent that daily synchronization will probably need our snapshotting technology.
